Orientation and Mobility.

Orientation and Mobility – how to move in different environments in a safe and efficient way as a vision-impaired person.

I am a specialist with a degree in Orientation and Mobility from La Trobe University in Melbourne and have several years of experience from instructing vision-impaired people within the field of Orientation and Mobility. I have also trained to become a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor at Guide Dogs Victoria in Melbourne.

I have previously lectured on the subject at Stockholm University and am frequently engaged as a lecturer. I offer tailor-made orientation and mobility courses to Low Vision clinics and other healthcare and disability organisations and have had many satisfied students. The courses are offered to those who already work with low vision therapy through county councils, councils or education providers. Perhaps you have a vision-impaired student about to start in your class? Maybe you are part of an organisation that works with guide and assistance dogs and need to educate your staff?

Do you want a tailor-made course in Orientation and Mobility or Guide Dog Mobility? I organise courses for 4-10 participants at my own facilities, or come to you and lecture on-site. I am happy to travel nationally and internationally.

I offer lectures on the subject of Orientation and Mobility as well as on the subject of guide and assistance dogs.

Perhaps you need advice or consultation within this field or others that involve people with vision impairment, for example relating to conduct, accessibility or guide dogs and allergies. I can help!

Are you vision impaired and need Orientation and Mobility training? I offer private and individual training at a cost of 450 SEK per hour (including VAT/GST).
